We are now running kitesurfing lessons at Black Rock Sands. Lessons will run on weekends and during the week upon request. They run in the same format as we have in Kinmel Bay. The Lessons need at least 2 students to go ahead so tell your friends and lets get you kitesurfing. The best way to start is on our 2 day IKO Level 1and Level 2 Kitesurfing Course which involves the following.

IKO Kiteboarder Level 1:

Discovery Kiteboarder Program

Below is what you will cover in IKO Level 1, once you have learnt to set up the kite it's straight into the water. We do all the kite flying in the water to keep you safe, by the end of your first session you will be confident enough to fly the kite on land also. It's a good thing to research the kite surfing lessons a little before your course so you know what to expect. Learning to kitesurf involves very little strength. The more you relax the quicker you will learn. Let the wind and the kite do the work. The main part of learning is keeping your back to the wind. The harness you will be wearing controls the kite more than your arms. Black Rock Sands is a great location because we can drive on to the beach and teach all day. As the tide goes out a flat water lagoon forms which is perfect for the board starts. The sea can be wavey also and it's good to experience both conditions. On a Windy and Sunny Day I can't think of a better place to learn to kitesurf.

Once we have completed this we will move straight on to Level 2 and get you into the water with  a kiteboard.  Level 1 Can be completed in a days training. We aim to give you 100% on your course so lets get started, please call to book your kitesurfing lessons. 07799 532725. Courses are available to book online.

Black Rock Sands the Welsh

The beach here is amazing it's £5 to drive on and we can kitesurf all day as the tide doesn't come all the way in, the lagoon provides perfect flat water for learning. Black Rock Sands is approx 1.5hrs from Kinmel Bay but well worth the drive for an amazing day learning to kitesurf. Once you arrive the beach warden will direct you to the kitesurfing area.
